You can keep track of your hours online with Email Checker.
This is very useful if your Internet service provider allows you a certain number of hours per month at a flat rate but charges per hour after that. Email Checker will keep a running total of the hours for you and automatically reset the hours to zero each month at the beginning of your billing cycle.
It will even work if another application makes the PPP connection for you (as long as Email Checker is running).
Select Hours Accumulated Online... from the PPP Connection Menu.

This will reset your Current Accumulated Hours Online to zero.
Current Accumulated Hours Online
Set this to the current number of hours that you have used in this billing cycle.
You will need to get this information from your Internet service provider.
If you are not able to obtain this information, at least find out when your billing cycle begins and Email Checker will reset the hours to zero on that day.
Day of each month to reset Accumulated Hours
Set this day to the day your billing cycle begins. You will need to get this information from your Internet Service Provider. Then each month, Email Checker will reset the Current Accumulated Hours Online to zero on this day. You will need to put a check mark in the box next to this item to enable it.
Note: the actual hours reported by your Internet service provider will be approximately the same as Email Checker reports but will not be exactly the same.
Make sure Email Checker is always running when you are online.
